Boreland Village Hall Plant Tubs Refurbished

In 2015 the Hutton Community Fellowship were very pleased to be able to fund the refurbishment and replanting of four flower tubs on the grounds of Boreland Village Hall.

Garry McIntyre excavated the old soil and vegetation from the two largest tubs and replenished all four tubs with fresh soil and compost donated by John Galt. Helen Tarlton then chose a selection of plants that had a variety of colour but could be easily maintained. She then landscaped and planted the new flora.

Steven Young, John Scott and Clare Rogerson also assisted in this project.

All the above people gave their time for free and we would like to thank them for their contribution to making the tubs look so beautiful!
